Welcome to the Tennessee Alliance for Neurodiversity — a Volunteer Organization!

Neurodiversity is, naturally, a term referring to a diverse group of people. Autism, Tourette's, ADHD, OCD... all are recognized as neurodiversity, however, there are actually many more forms of diversity than these simple categories show. As such, our needs are also diverse. At any given time, we may be looking for:

  • Help developing a new skill
  • Connection with other people
  • Support and validation for who we are
  • Education for our families or loved ones
  • Help navigating school or work
  • Help with managing typical life stress
  • And so on...

TAND was formed to acknowledge this and help neurodiverse individuals and their families and loved ones more easily find the resources they are looking for at that moment. Why would we ever assume that there is only one approach that helps us at all times?
